this page documents the various tasks I have been involved with on the project.

My first attempt at prototyping the bumpers using a sealed foam mold and fiberglass
fabrication

Second bumper attempt: this involved remodeling the bumper into a dual body part, modeling the molds, making the molds, thermoforming the bumper, and attaching the two sides.

I made molds for, and thermoformed, the wheel caps, along with making new decals to display our new logo

A solution I developed and made, for how to produce an even curvature along the "mohawk" piece, or the piece that joins the two sides of the shell

External AC condenser vent prototype I thermoformed

Emergency exit door fabrication, which involved editing the "mohawks" design

I visited the vacuum forming company where the shells and seats for the vehicle are produced

rendering and graphic

Old logo
New logo I created for the project to make us look more mature, and enhance the ties we have with NC State
New logo
I created new renders that show the possibilities for the future of the project. This includes taking the background images around campus, editing them, designing and modeling railways and other aspects of the render, and finally adding in the many vehicles and details

Posters I created for different events to explain the project in a more inviting and interesting manner

Home screens I created for the vehicle's internal display

I create renders for specific projects, such as suspension, to show the team what the final assembly will look like, and to show new concepts to the public.
I also create renders to help communicate the possibilities for color schemes, and new technologies
marketing and project enhancement

I laser cut decals for the vehicle to advertise our social media presence at events the vehicle will be displayed at.

This is the state the vehicle was in when I originally joined the project in January 2015

Shirts that I designed, and hand printed for the entire team (65 shirts)

I run our social media outlets, and document important event, such as when representatives from the NCDOT came to visit

Part of the project was having to create weekly and monthly reports to update the team on the progress I had made, and the projects I had been working on.

In the early stages of my involvement I would work at outreach events around Raleigh to meet new people and learn more about the project

Some very early sketches I did for future concept scopes of the vehicle
I will travel with the team to events, help set up the vehicle, and document the event.
